The compact entry into the RX 70 range
The RX 70-16 is the lightest diesel model in STILL’s RX 70 family. It is rated for 1,600 kg at a 500 mm load centre, runs on a 28 kW VW BXT engine with diesel-electric transmission and turns within 1,926 mm. The standard telescopic mast lifts 3,230 mm with a lowered height of 2,160 mm; the datasheet also lists HiLo and triplex masts, the tallest triplex reaching 7,870 mm. Forks are 40 × 80 × 800 mm and the truck weighs 2,706 kg.
At 2,975 mm long and 1,099 mm wide, with 2,117 mm to the top of the overhead guard, the RX 70-16 fits small loading bays, merchants’ yards and production sites where loads stay light but the work happens outdoors. Superelastic tyres cope with rough surfaces, and top speed is 22 km/h laden or unladen. If part of your work takes place in semi-enclosed areas, an LPG version (RX 70-16 T) is also available.
