Scheduled Maintenance

Regular maintenance prevents faults before they appear. Servicing at the intervals the manufacturer recommends brings down both downtime and long-term cost.

Scope of Service

Acting before the fault appears

We carry out scheduled maintenance at the intervals the manufacturer recommends, with maintenance packages suited to each truck type. The aim is to prevent possible faults before they appear and to protect the long-term performance of the truck.

The second benefit of scheduled maintenance shows up in the budget: because the maintenance items and their timing are known in advance, your service cost stops being a surprise and you can concentrate on your own work.

  • Tied to a calendar: Maintenance is planned by operating hours, and you are reminded when it is due.
  • Timed around production: The time slot with the least effect on output is agreed together.
  • Written output: After every service, the work carried out and the findings are reported.

Why Scheduled

Where the cost comes from when maintenance slips

The price of deferred maintenance does not show on the service invoice but in the truck that is standing still.

When Maintenance Is Deferred
  • A small leak is not caught in time and the whole hydraulic assembly has to be renewed.
  • Because service dates are not tracked, trucks are maintained at irregular intervals.
  • The fault appears in the middle of the shift and the repair turns into unplanned downtime.
  • Service costs fluctuate through the year and the budget does not hold.
  • With no documented maintenance history, the resale value of the truck drops.
With Scheduled Maintenance
  • Signs of wear and leaks are checked at every service and dealt with before they grow.
  • Every truck in the fleet gets its own schedule based on its operating hours.
  • Maintenance is timed around your production plan, when it disturbs output least.
  • The annual maintenance cost becomes predictable from the outset, together with its scope.
  • Every service is recorded; the service history of the truck is documented.
How It Works

From fleet inventory to maintenance report

Scheduled maintenance is not a single standard package; it is built around the age of the fleet and how hard it works.

Fleet Inventory

Truck type, age, operating hours and working environment are recorded.

Setting the Interval

The maintenance interval is set from the manufacturer’s recommendation together with the intensity of use.

Scheduling

Maintenance is placed in your production plan; you are informed in advance as the date approaches.

Carrying Out the Service

Maintenance follows a checklist; signs of wear and leaks are noted separately.

Report and Recommendations

The work carried out, the parts replaced and any needs coming up are given in writing.

Your periodic inspection obligation can be tied to the same calendar, so that maintenance and the statutory inspection are completed in one visit.
Maintenance Types

What is done at which service

The table below shows the general scope of the maintenance types. The final scope is set by truck type and by the manufacturer’s recommendation.

Maintenance intervals vary with truck type and operating hours; once we have seen your fleet we propose a separate interval for each truck.

What Scheduled Maintenance Brings

What comes with working to a calendar

Regular maintenance delivers more than the individual service itself.

01

Maintenance Reminders

You are informed in advance as the service becomes due against operating hours.

02

Predictable Cost

The annual maintenance cost is known from the outset, together with its scope.

03

Documented History

Every service is recorded; the service history of the truck is documented.

04

Early Warning

Signs of wear and leaks are reported before they turn into faults.

Why Expartise

The team that maintains the truck knows the truck

Working with a team that knows the history of your fleet is different from explaining it from scratch every time.

01

Authorised Service Partner

As a STILL Arser authorised service partner we have access to the manufacturer’s maintenance schedules and to genuine parts.

02

Our Own Team

We do not subcontract maintenance; the work is done by our own technical team in Kartepe (Kocaeli), an industrial region about an hour east of Istanbul.

03

Maintenance On Site

Almost all scheduled maintenance is completed at your premises, without moving the truck.

04

One Calendar

Maintenance, periodic inspection and energy system checks can be brought together in a single calendar.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions about scheduled maintenance

How is the maintenance interval set?

The baseline is the manufacturer’s recommendation, with the intensity of use added on top. On a truck working in dust, damp or multi-shift operation the interval gets shorter. Once we have seen your fleet we propose a separate interval for each truck.

What is the difference between scheduled maintenance and Full Service?

Scheduled maintenance covers the servicing carried out at the manufacturer’s intervals; repairs arising from faults are invoiced separately. Under Full Service, maintenance, repair and spare parts sit within a fixed monthly fee and the availability of the truck is our responsibility.

How long is the truck out of use during maintenance?

Interim services are usually finished within a few hours. For major and annual services the time depends on the truck type; because we plan around your production schedule, most of our customers have maintenance carried out outside the shift or in quieter hours.

Can the periodic inspection be done at the same time?

Yes. We can tie the statutory periodic inspection to the scheduled maintenance calendar, so that the truck is serviced and inspected in a single visit.

Is a contract compulsory?

No, we also carry out one-off maintenance. But benefits such as reminders, priority response and predictable cost come with working under contract.
