Maintenance and Repair
Maintenance and Repair
When a truck stands still, the service bill is not the only loss. Our priority is to get your forklift trucks and warehouse equipment working again in the shortest possible time.
- On-site service
- Kartepe workshop
- Genuine parts
- Accident damage
- Overhaul
Faults, damage and wear — all with the same team
An accident, ordinary wear and tear, or a new way of using the truck: we look after every forklift truck and piece of warehouse equipment in your fleet. As a STILL Arser authorised service partner we have access to genuine parts and technical documentation.
Our service vans are equipped so that routine maintenance and most repairs can be carried out on site, without moving the truck. Work that cannot be completed there is done in our own workshop in Kartepe (Kocaeli), an industrial region about an hour east of Istanbul; we do not subcontract it.
- On-site service: Most routine maintenance and repairs are completed at your premises.
- Overhaul in the workshop: Engine, transmission, mast and chassis work is done in our own workshop.
- Genuine parts: Replaced parts are supplied as STILL genuine parts.

A truck standing still is a process standing still
When one truck stops, it affects not only that truck but the whole flow it belongs to.
- The cause of the fault cannot be worked out over the phone, so the first visit does not finish the job.
- Parts take a long time to arrive and the truck sits in the workshop for days.
- A truck kept going with temporary fixes fails again shortly afterwards.
- The work carried out is not recorded, so the same fault keeps coming back.
- After accident damage, responsibility and scope stay unclear.
- The fault is described over the phone through a structured set of questions; the technician sets off with the right parts and equipment.
- Commonly used parts are held in stock; where an item has to be ordered, the lead time is stated up front.
- Instead of a temporary fix, the root cause of the fault is identified.
- Every intervention is recorded; the truck’s service history can be traced.
- After accident damage, the damage assessment and the repair scope are given in writing.

Frequently asked questions about maintenance and repair
Do you service only STILL trucks?
We mainly serve STILL fleets; our access to genuine parts and technical documentation is complete for this make. We also assess mixed fleets, but parts lead times and scope can vary by make. Let us look at your fleet and give you a clear answer.
Does the truck have to leave our site?
In most cases no. We complete most routine maintenance and repairs at your premises with our service van. Work that needs a workshop, such as engine, transmission or mast overhaul, is done in Kartepe; in that case the time and scope are stated up front.
Do you deal with the insurance process after accident damage?
We carry out the damage assessment and give the repair scope and cost in writing. That document can be used in an insurance claim; we do not run the process on your behalf, but we provide the technical documents required.
Are the spare parts genuine?
Yes. As a STILL Arser authorised service partner we supply genuine parts. For customers who ask for a more economical alternative we can also offer the E-Part range; which is appropriate for which item we assess together.
What happens if a fault comes back?
Every intervention is recorded. When the same fault recurs, we investigate the root cause against the earlier records; more often than not that means questioning how the truck is used or loaded, rather than a single part.
Do you have a truck standing still?
Send us the truck details and the symptoms; we will make an initial assessment and share a plan for the repair.
