Electric Forklift Trucks
Electric Forklift Trucks
No exhaust indoors, low noise, fewer maintenance items. The standard truck for moving goods inside a warehouse.
- 1.6 – 8 tonnes
- Three and four wheel
- 48 V / 80 V
- Lithium-ion option
- Indoor and outdoor
The standard truck for indoor work
An electric counterbalance forklift truck carries the load on forks in front of the truck and balances it with the weight at the rear. It is the most widely used truck in a warehouse: it lifts a pallet off the floor, moves it and places it in the rack.
Compared with a diesel equivalent, its decisive advantage indoors is that there are no exhaust emissions and noise is low. With fewer moving parts, the list of scheduled maintenance items is also shorter.
- No exhaust: Can be used in enclosed warehouses and food environments.
- Low noise: Less operator fatigue over a full shift.
- Low maintenance: Fewer engine, oil and filter items than a diesel.

Which operations it suits
Warehouse Handling
Picking up, moving and racking pallets; the basic working truck of the warehouse.
Food and Pharmaceuticals
Production and storage environments where exhaust gas is not acceptable.
Production Areas
Areas where the operator stays on the truck for long periods and noise is a problem.
Enclosed Loading Bays
Loading areas that can be driven into and where ventilation is limited.
Which steps of the chain it covers
An electric forklift truck does most of its work at the start and the end of the chain, at goods receiving and goods issue.
What decides the choice
The energy model and the body type shape daily output as much as capacity and lift height do.
Three and Four Wheel
A three-wheel body gives a smaller turning radius in tight spaces; a four-wheel body is more stable with heavy loads and outdoors.
Energy Model
Lead-acid is enough on a single shift; on two and three shifts lithium-ion allows opportunity charging and removes the need for a battery changing room.
Visibility
Mast design and cabin layout affect the operator’s view directly, above all when stacking high.
Fleet Integration
Operating hours, impact records and operator authorisation can be tracked through fleet software.

The truck on its own is not the solution
The return on the investment depends on how well the truck fits your warehouse and your process. That is where we start.
Site Analysis
We do not recommend a truck before we have measured your aisles, racking, order profile and shift pattern.
Kartepe Workshop
Maintenance, repair and overhaul are carried out by our own technicians in our own workshop in Kartepe, an industrial region about an hour east of Istanbul.
Genuine Parts
Supply of STILL genuine spare parts and stock planning matched to your fleet.
Safety Integration
Collision avoidance, speed limiting and camera systems can be fitted to the truck at the same time.
Frequently asked questions about electric forklift trucks
Can an electric forklift truck be used outdoors?
It can, but the ground and the weather decide. On sound concrete or asphalt there is no problem. On muddy, sloping or badly broken ground, and in long spells of rain, a diesel is still the better fit. For mixed use we recommend a four-wheel body and the right choice of tyres.
Lithium-ion or lead-acid?
If you run a single shift and can charge overnight, lead-acid is usually enough and costs less to buy. On two and three shifts lithium-ion comes into its own: because the battery can be topped up during breaks, battery changing and the changing room are no longer needed.
Should we buy a three-wheel or a four-wheel truck?
Aisle width and load weight decide. In narrow aisles and with frequent manoeuvring, the smaller turning radius of a three-wheel truck is an advantage. With heavy loads, outdoors and on slopes, a four-wheel truck is more stable.
What capacity should we buy?
Your heaviest pallet is the starting point, but it is not enough on its own: as the load centre distance and the lift height increase, the load the truck can carry falls. We work out all three together.
When we add a truck to our existing fleet, do we have to stay with the same make?
You do not have to, but it is practical. With a single-make fleet, parts stock, the service plan and operator training are all handled in one place; in a mixed fleet each of these is managed separately.
Do you supply ex-proof (explosion-protected) trucks for the chemical industry?
We do not carry out ex-proof conversions. The work requires the electrical and drive components of the truck to be rebuilt to ATEX requirements, and it is done by specialist firms. If you have such a requirement we can help you choose the truck and point you to a firm that carries out the conversion.
Let us choose the right forklift truck for your warehouse together
Tell us your heaviest pallet, your rack height and the number of shifts you run; we will work out the right combination of capacity, mast and energy.
