Ride or walk, two pallets at a time
The EXD-SF 20 is designed for horizontal transport over medium and long distances. In double-deck mode it carries two pallets of 1,000 kg each, which suits goods that cannot be stacked directly on one another, such as fruit and vegetables; alternatively it takes a single pallet of up to 2,000 kg, with up to 1,000 kg on the mast. The operator rides on the platform at up to 10 km/h, laden or unladen.
Folding the platform turns it into a pedestrian truck: overall length drops to 2,185 mm and the turning radius to 1,972 mm, against 2,410 mm with the platform down, which helps in lorry beds and congested dock areas. Hydraulically damped support rollers give traction on ramps, and a 24 V / 375 Ah 3PzS battery powers a 2.3 kW drive motor. Mast options run from telescopic versions to a HiLo mast reaching 2,924 mm.
