Mid-range capacity on a compact chassis
The FM-X 17 sits between the compact FM-X 14 and the 2 t models. It is rated at 1,700 kg at a 600 mm load centre and uses 50 × 100 × 1,150 mm forks in place of the 40 mm forks of the smaller truck. At 2,412 mm long and 1,270 mm wide it is only 10 mm longer than the FM-X 14, and it turns in 1,710 mm. The standard mast lifts to 5,750 mm with 1,880 mm of free lift, and a 591 mm reach distance takes the load well into the rack.
Energy comes from a 48 V / 465 Ah battery, or a 48 V / 204 Ah lithium-ion pack where intermediate charging suits the shift. Travel speed is 14 km/h in both directions, laden or unladen. Active Load Stabilisation reduces mast sway so pallets can be placed without a long pause, and the adjustable seat, steering and footplates keep operators comfortable. For sites whose loads have outgrown a 1.4 t truck but do not yet call for 2 t, the FM-X 17 is often the most balanced choice.
